You can easily earn a day without trying, I have easily a few million dilithium on each of my toons. Play with a Klingon Character once a day Do the Empire Defence mission every 20 hours or so you get over each day from that, so it will add up over time.

TFO’s, particularly random Advanced ones if you can handle. If not, not a big deal. Yes that does mean your DIL income can be RNG but even the lowest reward at Common will net you more Dilithium than simply doing a specific TFO of your choice as you still get the reward for that separately.
I’ve also heard that the Dyson Ground Battlezone in particular is great for earning Dilithium. I’ll forward monwy I’m about to say that I’ve been fantastically too lazy to try it out myself but I do remember that simply completing a full invasion cycle i. You can always trade 5 contraband for 2k DIL per character. This is especially effective if you have the account shared bank or really just a fleet bank. Any and all missions that have unknown rewards should be able to reward contraband outside of ones marked purchasesbar maybe one yoy two I’m unaware of.
I should mention that it’s not the system so much as the sector block, it’s simply a location I find easy to remember. The most frustrating reward of Dilithium is non-holiday events. The limited time item and 3 spec points is always a one-time-per-event account-wide reward BUT the 50k Dilithium is not and is redeemable on each character that individually completes the event.
It’s a frustrating 2-week grind but between the full 8 character slots dliithium available this is a potential k DIL. Or heck even k DIL if star trek online can you make money mining dilithium want to do half the work. Lastly if you have not already you get 30k DIL per reputation that hits T5.
This is a one-time reward per character but 13x30k is k per character that achieves this with the inclusion of the new Disco rep. It’s much minnig if you’ve hit T5 in all reps on at least one character. I don’t really recommend this outside of upgrading that characters gear to Mk XV. Refining Dilithium is 8, ore per 20 hour period.
The fleet mine has a quick doff project that refines more ore per day. There is a certain time of day that the period is reset, so you might be able to do 2 per your play time.
